basking in the Abu Dhabi sun

Wow... It has been over 2 years now since my last post. A lot of things has happened in this time. Career wise I am now living and working in Abu Dhabi as a design and multimedia teacher. Personally, I still have two little boys whom are now 2.5 an 4.5 years a lovely wife to support, and an extra two little turtles (named 'ball-ball' and 'yo-yo' - the kids named them). I have also moved my weblogs onto my personal site. So, if anybody out there is still following my blog posts, I can now can be found at: www.kevintrinh.com. Please have a look and let me know what you think.

Very hungry baby bottle

This baby bottle, named “Very Hungry,” is designed to look like a breast so babies have an experience as close to the real deal as possible. The packaging is shaped like a milk carton to represent what is held within the product. The graphics on the package of the “happy” milk drops are designed to evoke the pleasure that babies get from being fed. The window on the front panel exposes and creates appeal for the bottle inside the carton - more info here

The Art of Window Display

"Redefining everything we ever thought about window shopping, these creative window displays will stop anyone in their tracks. As a mix of art, fashion, design and marketing, they not only have to quickly grab our attention they must compel us to enter a store. By giving people an experience, these displays also have the important duty of helping define a brand's image. As window displays have started becoming more like amazing art installations or fantastic scenes from a movie, we can only imagine the time spent beforehand - conceptualizing, planning and installing. How wonderful is it, though, when your art comes to life...like this?"

A Day in the Internet

MOVE

It has been a long time since I have updated my portfolio. It’s seems like my average blog is every 3 months. I must admit, I’m pretty inattentive with this online socializing business.

I have been engaged with a few ongoing projects including a website for a dentist and catalogue work for Bellevarde, a renowned construction company in Australia. In my full time job, ADSHEL, the launch of MOVE (Measurement of Outdoor Visibility and Exposure) has finally given outdoor media buyer’s measurable data, enabling them to monitor how effective their purchased media space is performing. With Adshel’s nationwide coverage, this makes them one of the leaders in the visibility index of outdoor advertising. There has been a lot of product development happening, and a large number of ‘create’ briefs.
